WHO: The American Institute of Architects Diversity Recognition Program WHAT: The program seeks exemplary efforts to diversify the architecture profession. The jury will select up to 12 submissions each year as diversity best practices meriting the following recognition: · Presentation of certificate at AIA National Convention · Profiles in AIArchitect and on the AIA Diversity Web page · Inclusion in the AIA Best Practices library on the Architect’s Knowledge Resource and aia.org · Acknowledgment at AIA National Convention events, including the GLBT Reception, Minority Fellows Reception, and the Women in Architecture Dinne
WHEN: The AIA must receive all submissions by September 16, 2009
